johnnie-O POP-UP Store Full & Part-Time Team Members – El Segundo, CA
johnnie-O is looking for full-time and part-time sales associates to work our pop-up slated to open in October 2017 at The Point in El Segundo. This will be a unique opportunity for us to spread the word about johnnie-O and connect directly with the community. Working with our store manager, the sales associates are critical to the success of our pop-up and the brand as a whole.
Customer Experience — Our customers are the most important part of our brand and our success. You will be the face of our brand as shoppers and guests enter the store. Meeting and making a connection with customers, asking questions and listening to shoppers needs, then giving options and suggestions on meeting those needs are the most important part of your role. You will be inspiring the customer to buy, while creating a lasting positive impression of johnnie-O.
Merchandising — Our store and product need to look good – all the time. It's important for you to maintain the selling floor so it’s clean, organized, stylish, fresh, always stocked and the clothes look great on the shelves and the mannequins. When customers come in, we want the store to be the perfect place to see, touch and feel the johnnie-O lifestyle and enjoy a relaxed experience with great customer service.
Leadership — Taking initiative to go the extra mile in customer service, store presentation, and helping the store manager as needed is important.
Operations - Handling sales transactions, returns and credit will be your responsibility, as well as supporting the store manager with daily operations, like inventory counts, scheduling requests and other important needs that come up.
Marketing - We need to spread the word about johnnie-O. Think out of the box via outreach, collaborations, and events. Let the store manager know your idea. Make it happen. We’ll support you!
Product Knowledge – You’ll be the expert on johnnie-O products. Hopefully, you’ve done your homework and know a bit about our product offerings. But don’t worry, with our onboarding and seasonal trainings you’ll be knowledgeable about the line, as well as features and benefits of the product. Constantly share feedback from customers and what we can do better. We want to make the pop-up the best it can be.

Success in a Retail Role: If you have outstanding selling skills, provide exceptional customer service, a strong work ethic, outgoing and personable, ambitious and self-motivated, trustworthy and a positive attitude, you can succeed here. Flexibility in availability including nights, weekend, and holidays is required.

*Physical requirements – ability to stand for long periods of time, lift boxes, perform general maintenance and cleaning duties as needed.
