Oftentimes we hear about “living legends”; unfortunately, though, we rarely have the opportunity to meet one. In John’s case, he has had the pleasure of not only meeting one, but spending quality time with one as well. We are proud to introduce to you someone that John has great admiration for and who he considers a cherished friend, Eddie “The Lil Pro” Merrins. Lil Pro has been the head pro (now Emeritus) at Bel-Air Country Club for over 55 years. He hails from the great state of Mississippi and is a proud LSU Tiger. To say that Lil Pro broke the mold of being a “true gentleman” and steward of the game would be a gross understatement.
