THE GOLDSTEIN HOUSE

We'd like to introduce you to the Goldstein House — architectural beauty from the genius of John Lautner and backdrop for the johnnie-O spring catalog! Superbly seated on a Los Angeles hillside, the Goldstein Residence boasts spectacular views of the city, a tennis court, and even its own nightclub, aptly named "Club James' after its eccentric owner. Because why not?
So who owns the pristine property? Well, did you ever watch an LA Lakers or Clipper game and wonder who the man was sitting courtside, dawning a leather cowboy hat over his shoulder-length white hair, generally coupled with a leather jacket and pants to boot? That is James F Goldstein — multimillionaire and proud owner of the residence. According to bleacherreport, Goldstein carries a business card with three words on it: Fashion, Architecture, Basketball, all of which are his passions. He has an affinity for fashion, traveling the world over to attend many of the hottest fashion shows. While not much is known as to how he made his fortune, the Wall Street Journal speculates real estate. And speaking to the 3rd word on his business card, basketball, let it be known that Goldstein is not just any NBA fan, he is the very definition of a Super Fan, attending well over 100 games annually!
Apart from the views, architecture, tennis court, and private night club, another fun feature of the Goldstein residence is its tie to the cult-classic 'The Big Lebowski.' If you've seen the film, you'll remember this as the home of wealthy pornographer and loan-shark, 'Jackie Treehorn.' Additionally, this home is a staple for Hollywood entertainment, and was even the designated location for Rihanna's 27th birthday, to which Mick Jagger, Jay-Z, and Leonardo DiCaprio were in attendance.
Needless to say, there's a storied history at the Goldstein Residence, and we are fortunate to have been able to play kings of the castle for the afternoon!
