LA SUMMER BUCKET LIST

Coming to LA this summer? We hope so. Beach days always! But there's more to LA than just sun and sand, and we at johnnie-O wanted to give you a bucket list for summer fun for you and the fam that lies BEYOND the beach!
STROLL ON THE STRAND
22 miles of beachfront bike path. Whether looking for a cardio or a casual stroll with the kids, this is perfect way to catch some rays, while having a little exercise, and a whole lotta fun!

DAY TRIP TO CATALINA
'26 miles across the sea, Santa Catalina is a waiting for me.' The 'island of romance' is a charming locale, perfect for scuba diving, snorkeling, or simply, a little R&R. Charming and historic, you can almost feel the days when the Avalon boardwalk was roamed by the likes of John Wayne, Frank Siantra, and Marilyn Monroe. Got a free day? Consider Catalina!

CLASSIC MOVIE WEDNESDAYS AT BRENTWOOD COUNTRY MART
You can't beat the classics, and what goes better with a little family movie night than a "FREE" price tag? Bring a chair or your johnnie-O beach towel, and plop down for a little summer family fun in the quaint backdrop of the Brentwood Country Mart.

OPEN AIR DINING AT GRAND CENTRAL MARKET
There are many reasons to head downtown: art, architecture, and the inevitable crowd pleaser, FOOD. And we get it, sometimes it's hard to please the entire party, but at the Grand Central Market, the choice is yours. Offering everything from sushi and pizza to burritos and adult beverages. Come on down(town).

DODGER DOG AND A GAME
Dodgers game. Dodger dog. Beer. Enough said.

SWEET TREAT AT JENI'S SPLENDID ICE CREAM
Want to beat the heat with a tasty treat? Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams can help with that. Simply put, their flavors work. Whether it's the Gooey Butter Cake or the Brambleberry Crisp, Jeni's delivers. And top top it off, the cone is awesome! You can't judge a book by its cover, but we absolutely judge an ice cream shop by its cone, and, well, 10/10!

SUNSET AT EL MATADOR
There's really nothing quite like the silhouette of the palm trees against the setting sun of a California sky, and no matter where you are in LA, you'll be perfectly pleased. That said, the sunset from El Matador is next-level eye candy. The beauty far outweighs the mileage on your way to Malibu.
